A key requirement to work as an independent electrician on projects in Norway is a so-called DSB approval. This is a Norwegian approval for your electrician training in your home country. In some cases, you can get a job as an electrical helper without DSB - but this is not the rule.

To obtain DSB authorization it required a certificate from the employer in your home country certifying that you have worked as an independent electrician for two years.
